Privacy Policy

The controller responsible for personal data related to HostMyLauncher is Elías Sarutte, who offers the service under the HostMyLauncher name. For questions, email contact@hostmylauncher.com.

HostMyLauncher stores the username, which need not be the person's real name; the email address associated with the account, used to sign in and contact the user; the profile image provided by an external OAuth provider, if applicable; the dates these details were created and modified; and the identifier of the external OAuth provider.

Passwords and access codes are stored using one-way hashing. Account data is treated as private information. Email, avatar, and username are the only account data that may be shared with other users. Billing data is not shared; only the person paying for a launcher's subscription can access its corresponding Paddle customer portal.

We apply reasonable measures to protect account data and prevent unauthorized access. This is not a guarantee that security incidents will never occur.

Launcher, instance, and hosted-file content is distinct from account data. Access depends on each instance's settings: hiding an instance only removes it from the public listing; an access-code lock restricts requests for its public data and file listing from people without the code. Files should not be considered secret, and absolute confidentiality is not guaranteed.

We take reasonable measures to protect account data and keep each launcher's content separate from access by other users. The service may experience interruptions or technical or time limitations; we seek to keep it operational within those limitations.

Files subject to the grace period described in the Terms are permanently deleted when that period expires if the launcher still has no included storage. Recovery after deletion is not guaranteed.

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and receives and processes payment and billing data related to plan purchases. For information about Paddle's handling of that data and the rights it provides, see its Privacy Policy.

Card data, including the full card number and security code, is received and handled only by Paddle. HostMyLauncher does not receive or store that data.

HostMyLauncher may receive basic customer data and subscription data needed to confirm purchase status, activate a plan, and administer the subscription. We do not use that data to receive or store full card details.
